Present: Senior Conservation Director, Tropical Audubon Society
Responsible for strengthening Tropical Audubon's policy capacity for conservation efforts, and for deepening engagement with local, state, and federal governments to enhance Tropical Audubon’s conservation impact. Working to develop Tropical Audubon’s influence in Miami Dade County (MDC) conservation policy for the organization’s strategic focal areas: Bird Conservation, Everglades Protection and Restoration, Biscayne Bay, Smart Growth and Climate Change. Actively engage in the planning process for restoration and protection projects related to Everglades, Biscayne Bay and Florida Bay, and advocate for nature-based solutions to these projects.

Past: Environmental/Coastal Scientist, Moffatt & Nichol
Manage/assist with projects that are primarily in coastal, marine and other waterfront environments. Responsibilities include completing environmental impact assessments, regulatory feasibility assessments and other technical analyses in coordination with other professional design/consulting team members, as well as applying for and processing regulatory permits for development projects in Florida and the Caribbean.

Develop conservation measures to reduce potential adverse impacts to endangered species under the responsibility of the Imperiled Species Management Section; with a focus on sea turtles and lighting. Review proposed development plans and provides comments focused on lighting impacts to sea turtle nesting beaches to regulatory agencies.​​ Manage FWC’s Wildlife Lighting Certification program to identify appropriate lighting options for beachfront developments.
